The Bolestraszyce Arboretum was created in 1975. There are a park and Piotr Michałowski’s mansion, and also a 19th century fort belonging to the former Przemyśl Fortress there. The trees growing there are of historical value as well.

The dispensed area of the Arboretum covers few thousand species of plants (trees, shrubs, flowers) of local and foreign origins, including endangered and protected ones. The arrangement is in the vein of the old gardens of the Małoposka region.

The Natural History Museum was created on the first floor of the mansion. It shows the exhibition “Let’s Protect Birds”, the photo exhibition and other permanent exhibitions. Within the limits of this area there is located the Sensory Garden for the disabled.

Except of the plants, the attraction of this place are ponds full of fish and water lilies. The garden is a very romantic place where the beauty of nature can be admired.
