A renaissance-mannerist castle built from the turn of the16th and the 17th century surrounded with a park. It is built on a square plan with an inner courtyard and decorated walls. It has four different corner towers.

The four towers reflect the eternal hierarchy of the world: Divine (with a dome – once housed a  chapel), Papal (with a pope’s crown shaped attic – contained guest rooms), Royal (with six turrets – here royal apartments were located), Noble (crown shaped – was used as an observation deck). Another tower – the highest one, currently serving as the observation deck with a view onto an interesting landscape – is situated by the old gate.

The walls (inner and outer) are decorated (sgraffito decorations cover as much as 7 000 m2 of the wall). Galleries were built in the courtyard.
