The Folk Museum in Kolbuszowa is an open-air ethnological museum showing the culture of the Lasowiacy and the Rzeszowiacy through the 19th and the 20th century villages. The atmosphere of the previous centuries is encapsulated in more than 80 structures on a total area of 30 hectares.

The Folk Museum in Kolbuszowa maintains the spatial arrangements of farmsteads and homes. It renders the actual nature and relations within traditional village. Individual objects are surrounded by the natural environment present then.

The open-air ethnological museum presents architectural structures typical of the 19th and the 20th century village. It contains homes, stables, pigsties, barns, granaries, water mill, windmills, smithies, school, inn, fire station, church and lots of other places surrounded with meadows, fields and apiaries. The oldest building (the estate’s granary) comes from 1784.
